I'm on the journey of my life. I'm losing weight and feeling great! In my quest for fitness, I made the decision to eliminate my #1 obstacle, my hair!
I (Big ) chopped my hair and having been losing ever since. As my body shrinks my hair grows. :-)
My desire is not simply to be small but to be a fit momma!
I'm determined...I cannot/will not stop...EVER!!

So…this is a major commitment but I’m going in…one mile a day until the 4th of July. I figure…I’m already committed to running Tuesday through Friday…all I have to do is find 10 minutes on the other days to get in 1 mile? TOTALLY doable. Ok…maybe 11 minutes…but we shall see how fast I will be able to complete a mile by the 4th of July.
I didn’t run on Memorial day…but I’ve run every day since. I will be off one day but I”m ok with that.
Soo excited!!!
You don’t have to cut everything that’s delicious out of your diet…overnight! Make small changes, gradually. I went from eating a breakfast sandwich, hash browns and a diet coke (never liked drinking my calories) for breakfast. To…cutting out the hash browns…just the sandwich and Diet Coke. To no sandwich, no hash browns OR diet coke…just an oatmeal. It gets easier…I promise!

The more I run, the more I draw a parallel between running and weight-loss. In order to reach my destination, I have to keep going…one step at a time. It doesn’t matter how many miles I’m running, 1 mile or 10 miles…one step at a time. Same with weight-loss. It doesn’t matter if you have 10 lbs to lose or 100 lbs the only way to get there is one step/pound/day at a time. When I’m running I always want to stop…even when I’m not tired but I have to keep telling myself…you’re not tired…why stop? KEEP GOING!! Same with weight-loss…when I’m eating healthy I often think of unhealthy foods when I’m NOT hungry or don’t have a taste for it. I have to tell myself…you don’t want it…why eat it? KEEP GOING! One step at a time!!!
